Join Us: ACG 101 Security Meeting, April 7
Join us next Wednesday, April 7, for the ACG 101 meeting on How To Stay Safe In Today’s Risker World.
Years ago, “security” for many companies meant having a good lock on the warehouse door. In today’s global business environment, the kinds of terrorism events and massive frauds that make headlines are also factors that have to be included in planning your company’s operating strategy.
Juval Aviv, our April 5 speaker, spends his days keeping his corporate clients safe from those kinds of risks. Aviv is president and CEO of Interfor Inc., an international investigation and security consulting firm based in New York. It provides domestic and foreign intelligence services to law firms, corporation and financial institutions. Many of its investigators and fraud examiners come from defense and intelligence agencies, including the British Secret Service, Israeli intelligence, various European agencies, and the United States CID, CIA, DEA and FBI agencies.
Aviv’s own resume includes service in the Israeli Defense Force and the Mossad, Israel’s secretive intelligence service, including the missions depicted in the movie “Munich.” He also worked for Pan American Airways, investigating the Lockerbie bombing.
Interfor performs due diligence for companies considering investments, mergers or joint ventures. It reports recovering more than $15 billion for clients victimized by fraud or embezzlement, and currently is searching for assets that may have been hidden overseas by Ponzi fraudster Bernard Madoff.
If you want to know more about the wide range of risks your company faces today, this is a meeting you must miss.
